The Interior Ministry of Ukraine created three accounts on Facebook and Twitter each, UKRINFORM learned from the Interior Ministry's Public Relations Office.
"The Interior Ministry has created on the social media Facebook and microblogging service Twitter three accounts each, in Ukrainian, Russian and English languages, providing online news about the activities of the ministry," reads the statement of the ministry.
The agency also noted that such channels to inform the Ukrainian and foreign citizens on the activities of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry appeared at the request of Interior Minister Vitaliy Zakharchenko. "This is one of the ways for closer communication of the public authority with society," the ministry's press office said.
